Originating in haute couture, The House of Lyria now brings its textile universe into the world of interior architecture. Drawing on its creative heritage and distinctive vision, the house designs collections intended to enhance homes, hotels, and exceptional spaces, bringing depth of texture, emotion, and timeless elegance to these environments.
The House of Lyria, an Italian textile house based in Prato, in the heart of Tuscan wool tradition, was founded by Riccardo Bruni, whose unique vision blends memory, travel, and experimentation. Each creation is the result of a constant dialogue between ancestral artisanal techniques and contemporary research, giving rise to fabrics with a unique, vibrant, and sustainable character.
Inspired by nature and the wabi-sabi philosophy, the collections favor natural fibers such as linen, wool, and cotton, worked using sometimes unexpected techniques. The textures are rich and delicate, and the soft, patinated colors are obtained from organic pigments, evoking the earth, forests, and the passage of time.
Each textile by The House of Lyria bears the mark of human intervention and tells a story. An imperfect and authentic beauty, intentionally unfixed, as if the material had already lived — bringing soul, depth, and lasting emotion to interiors.
