Java baskets are hand-braided in Indonesia using ancestral know-how. Mendong, an aquatic grass growing on the island of Java, is harvested, soaked for several weeks, then dried before being carefully braided. For this model, jute thread has been woven into the braid, giving a softer texture and an even more natural look.
Each piece is unique, and reflects the richness of the raw materials and the talent of the local artisans.
Perfect as plant pots, storage or simply as a decorative object, these baskets combine authentic charm and functionality.
Dimensions: Ø65 X H50 CM
