The Fisherman Table Throw is a remarkable new piece from Libeco — part table runner, part generous throw — inspired by their celebrated Belgian Towel fouta. Woven in a sturdy, heavyweight plain weave, it is as practical as it is beautiful, and fully machine washable, while allowing the natural character of your table to show through.
On an ecru ground, two sets of stripes in tan brown, old rose, larch green and mustard adorn each end.
Fringed at both ends.

A little history…
Libeco linen is woven in Belgium, with every metre of fabric inspected and corrected by hand where needed. Their products are crafted with the utmost care — for the product itself, and for the environment. Linen is one of the most ecological fibres in the world, and at Libeco, sustainable enterprise has always been a core value. In recent years, they have taken further significant strides, achieving certification as a CO₂-neutral company and launching a 100% organic linen collection. Doing business sustainably, for a viable future — that is their vision.
Libeco's story began in 1858 in Flanders, when weaving was still carried out on hand looms by farmers seeking additional income during the harsh winter months when the land lay frozen. The finished cloths were transported by horse-drawn cart to Kortrijk, then the heart of the linen industry. Libeert & Compagnie kept its offices and warehouses just opposite the railway station, selling to traders who travelled from across the globe in search of the most coveted Flemish linen.
Today, the fifth generation of the Libeert family leads the company, continuing — together with their 200 colleagues — to weave their story.
