The BOHO collection was born from a desire to return to the essential purpose of things through simple, timeless forms. An armchair, a bench, a sofa, a daybed — each exists, first and foremost, to offer a place to sit in comfort. With this in mind, Maison de Vacances chose a solid beech and particleboard frame, with seating supported by a double-spring system beneath a generous layer of high-resilience foam. To perfect the comfort further, a seat cushion was added, composed of a silicone bead base layer, a high-resilience foam core, and a top layer of feathers held in anti-migration pockets. Yet for an object to serve us without constraining us, it must above all be practical. This is why every piece in the BOHO collection features fully removable covers, which can be slipped on and off in moments — whether for care or simply a change of mood. It is also why the modular elements can be configured in virtually endless combinations, accommodating any length, angle, or layout. Finally, for an object to feel truly welcoming rather than dictating its own terms, it must embrace you. Every element of the BOHO collection therefore features a generous backrest and a beautifully deep seat, giving you all the room you need for existing cushions — or new ones yet to be discovered.
