The BOHO collection was born from a desire to return to the essential purpose of objects through simple, timeless forms. An armchair, a bench, a sofa, a chaise longue — each exists, first and foremost, to provide comfortable seating. With this in mind, Maison de Vacances chose a structure of solid beech and particle board, with a seat supported by a double spring system beneath a generous layer of high-resilience foam. To perfect the comfort, a seat cushion was added, comprising a base layer of silicone beads, a core of high-resilience foam, and a top layer of feathers held within anti-migration pouches. Yet for an object to serve us without ever constraining us, it must above all be practical. This is why the entire BOHO collection features removable covers that can be taken off and replaced in seconds — whether for care or simply a change of mood. It is also why its modular elements can be configured in countless ways to suit any length, angle, or layout requirement. Finally, for an object to feel truly welcoming rather than imposing, it must invite you in. Every piece in the BOHO collection features a comfortable backrest and a generous seat depth, allowing you to arrange all the cushions you already have — or add whichever new ones catch your eye.
