This is a handcrafted piece, woven from unique linen yarns. Slight imperfections in the fabric and fringing are entirely natural, bearing testament to its artisanal origins.

A little history:

It all began with the summer 2015 collection, when the Libeco designer set out to create a truly beautiful towel — a piece with a bohemian soul, perhaps with fringes, neither too light nor too heavy.

After many weaving experiments, the perfect cloth finally revealed itself. A magical moment. A few years on, this fouta evolved into a magnificent multi-purpose piece. Far more than a simple beach towel, it drapes effortlessly over a sofa as a throw, instantly transforming a room. Lay it as a table runner or tablecloth, wrap it as a sarong, or spread it across a bed — the possibilities are endless.

Since then, Libeco has introduced two further sizes: a guest towel and a smaller hand towel that doubles beautifully as a placemat. So many ways to enjoy it.
